Graduated from Rhode Island School of Design with a Bachelor of Fine Art (Illustration). I believe in the expressive and therapeutic power hidden in the art-making process, equivalent to externalizing a fragment of one’s inner self. As a kid who grew up drawing in the corner of my notebook, the sense of fulfillment and the sheer joyfulness of being able to visualize “myself” drove me to fuel my pursuit of becoming an artist. Today, as I teach art, it reminds me of my childhood excitement as I see aspiring youth step into the classroom and eager to explore the creative journey together.
