[Outing] Art Trip to Art Science Museum, Frida Kahlo: The Life of an Icon

In this outing, we aim to explore how artist Frida Kahlo uses symbols / imagery in her portrait paintings. And understand what is surrealism. Let’s immerse and study her style of art and her ideas behind her stories in this coming June art trip together.


Workshop Terms and Conditions 

•$25 registration fee is applicable for new signups.
•Reservations must be made at least 1 week before the start of workshops week.

•Your booking will be confirmed upon full payment.
•Classes need at least 3 students registered in the time slot to commence.

•All payments are non-transferable and non-refundable.

•All pictures for illustration purposes only. Final outcome of workshop may vary.

•In the event of closure of our physical centres due to a government-mandated shutdown or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, the workshop will be conducted online over video chat instead.

•A class may be of mixed ages, but personal guidance will be given to each student base on their age and level.

•Artgrain reserves the right to use attendees’ image, artworks, and profile in promotional materials, events, publications, and videos. Attendees’ artworks may be featured in our school’s social media.


Art Outings

1. Parents must inform the teacher in charge of any medical or pharmaceutical requirement(s) their child may have. The latter entails the possession of the necessary drugs in the necessary quantities.

2. Punctuality of the participants for all appointments and organized activities is required.

3. It is forbidden for students to leave the group without permission

4. If an exceptional situation requires it, the teacher in charge may, under his/her own responsibility, adapt one or more articles of this terms and conditions. 

5. In case of a ‘force majeure’ event that would result in an unforeseeable extra cost, neither the management nor the organizing teachers may be held responsible for these costs. These additional fees will be charged to parents, who hereby agree to repay them.

Our art outings are carefully planned and scheduled in advance to ensure the best experience for all participants. Due to the logistical arrangements involved, including booking of venues and transportation, we are unable to accommodate changes to the scheduled outings. Therefore, once a child is registered for an art outing, no refunds or reimbursements will be provided in the event of absence due to illness, personal reasons, or any other circumstances.
