As you may have heard, due to the spread of the infectious novel coronavirus, Singapore authorities have now imposed a 14-day Leave Of Absence from school (LOA) for students & teachers returning from China.
Artgrain will follow suit with the following practices starting from Wednesday, 29 Jan 2020.
Leave of Absence for students with travel history to China
Students who have travelled to China during the last 14 days are NOT to attend classes at Artgrain up till & including 11 Feb 2020. This is so that students can stay at home & minimise close contact with others.
Students who have travelled to China and are affected by the leave of absence will be allowed to schedule makeups for the lessons they miss. To arrange for the makeups, please contact us to fill out a form acknowledging your leave of absence.
Temperature screening at Artgrain
In the coming week, Artgrain will implement a temperature check on all students, tutors and staff of Artgrain. Persons found to have temperature exceeding 37.5 deg Celsius will be asked to leave the Artgrain centre to go home. We are currently sourcing for infrared thermometers, which are in low stocks in Singapore, and will begin temperature screening as soon as possible.
If you wish, you may give your child a mask to bring and wear in class as a precautionary measure.
Students & parents are advised to subscribe to the Government WhatsApp service by clicking on the link below to receive the latest updates on on the novel coronavirus situation.
